- 1Cooling performance-Least:Aluminum plate is not uniformly and the thermal resistance between the aluminum plate and inside air is relatively large. Limited effective volume.Influence of frost on cooling-Little:The surface area of the aluminum plate exposed to the inside air doesn't become smaller when aluminum plate surface is covered with frost.Others:The vibration of the FPSC is conducted to the insulated container and aluminum plate directly and they can become a source of noise.2Cooling performance-Best:The thermal resistance between cold side of FPSC and heat exchanger is relatively small. The thermal resistance inside air is relatively small too.Influence of frost on cooling-Large:When the space is filled with frost, air can't flow there. The surface area of finned plate exposed to the inside air becaomes smaller and cooling performance is reduced.Others:1. It is necessary to specify a fan motor suitable for operation at desired qorking temperature.2. The heat from the fan motor adds an additional heat load and reduces the overall cooling performance.3Cooling performance-Better:Aluminum plate is cooled more uniformly than "1". Two-phase heat transport allows for the lowest thermal resistance between the aluminum plate and FPSC.Influence of frost on cooling-Little:The surface area of the aluminum plate exposed to the inside air doesn't become smaller when aluminum plate surface is covered with frost.Others:
1. It is necessary to define and prepare a suitable working fluid for desired operating temperature.2. It is necessary to prepare charging equipment for working fluid.4Cooling performance-Better:Copper tube is attached on aluminum plate with more freedom than "3". Plate is cooled more uniformly than "3" but results in a higher thermal resistance.Influence of frost on cooling-Little:The surface area of the aluminum plate exposed to the inside air doesn't become smaller when aluminum plate surface is covered with frost.Others:
1. It is necessary to prepare suitable brine and pump for desired operating or storage temperature.2. The heat from the pump motor adds an additional heat load and reduces the overall cooling performance.3. It is necessary to take precautions against potential brine leakage. Product Models

RIGID has prepared a product lineup of Stirling Coolers that can cool air temp to 30℃ ~ -160℃ using helium gas as the refrigerant. The Stirling Cooler, which differs from a compressor, is a cooling system that continuously repeats gas compression and adiabatic expansion and uses naturally occurring helium gas as the refrigerant.
Helium is a very safe gas that is entirely harmless to our global environment. The typical use of our Stirling Cooler is in portable freezers, and refrigerators, but we are also developing a product lineup for use in laboratory equipment and in medical devices used for low-temperature distribution of goods.
